I am looking for a way to install the recovery console in Vista.
I installed Vista over XP. I did have the recovery Console from XP installed.
When I booted to the recovery console, I get messages that the commands like cd aren't recognized at all. So I don't know if there is a recovery console in Vista.
thanks

Recovery Console
I suspect this implementation is still in development and will probably appear in a later build. I have not tried to access it in 5365 though, but it should be based on the Windows Preinstallation Environment. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
